To get air to the brakes, engineers designed inlet ducts that replace the factory daytime running lights. These ducts are made from injection molded plastic and include brackets needed to attach to the factory hardware locations on the bumper. The outlet of the duct is designed to work with the high-temperature flexible ducting included with this kit, directing air to the specially designed backing plates and into the brake rotors cooling vanes.
