Key Highlights: • New Head Coach: Coach Melissa Johnson joins as Head Coach with 15 years of youth cheer experience and currently serves as an assistant coach at Liberty North High School. • Returning Coaches: Coach Cara, Coach Jennifer, and Coach Trinity return for the season (Trinity is also pursuing her master’s degree). • Team Placements: All teams will be restructured based on skill evaluations to prioritize safety, technique, and balanced stunt groups. A non-competitive team option will be available for athletes with limited availability. • Sideline Cheer Requirement: All athletes are required to participate in sideline cheering as a core part of the cheerleading experience. • Uniforms & Costs: • Returning athletes: $150 registration fee (uniform reuse; new uniform $225 if needed) • New athletes: $380 registration (includes uniform, warm-up, and indoor practice fees) • New personalized warm-ups required for all athletes • Optional backpack: $50 • Fundraising: Reduced to $75 per athlete, with cookie dough sales returning as an optional fundraiser. • Practice Schedule: Summer practices are encouraged but optional. Mandatory practices begin July 27, when team placements will be finalized. No full refunds will be issued after this date.
