Making her mainline return for the 2015 season, 46233 'Duchess of Sutherland' took charge of PMR Tours' 'Oxfordshire Express', running from Manchester Victoria (diesel hauled as far as Derby) to Didcot and back, and would be a rare opportunity to see the Big Lizzie on Western metals in the south. In these two clips, we see the Duchess first approaching Kings Sutton, seen at the foot crossing to the north of the station, and secondly, flying around the curve at Hatton North Junction. Note the headcode in the second shot, 24C, a small tribute to the late Alan Castle. Filmed on a Panasonic HS900 with a Pro Sound L92AA microphone. Enjoy.
