Tablet weaving instructor Linda Hendrickson demonstrates how to make a continuous warp. This is a segment from the video "Weave A Neckpiece". The complete 42-minute video is available in streaming format on the Taproot Video website, https://taprootvideo.com/ Click on Classes and Books, and scroll down to the bottom of the page where you will see page numbers. Click on 3, and "Weave a Neckpiece" is second from the top. "Weave A Neckpiece" is an excellent introduction to basic tablet weaving. In the video, Linda also shows how to arrange the tablets for several geometric designs, how to weave a flat band and a seamless tube in a structure called warp twining, and how to attach jewelry findings. Please note that you can attach the warping wand directly to the table -- that works just fine. Also, if you want your work to be portable, attach C-clamps to the ends of a board, and then clamp the board to the table. "Weave a Neckpiece" was produced by Victorian Video in 1996. It is a visual companion to Linda's book "Tubular Cardwoven Neckpieces", now available in PDF format at http://lindahendrickson.com/tablet-we...
