#tentbox #unboxing #rooftent To save on hotel and fuel bills, when competing at various racing circuits, I have purchased a TentBox Lite 2.0 roof tent to go on my FIAT Panda. The TentBox lite 2.0 was quite east to fit using a pair of roof bars fitted to the roof rails of the Panda. The TentBox is quite heavy (about 50kg) and really needs two people (or some form of hoist) to lift onto the roof bars. The TentBox Lite 2.0 has an inbuilt mattress which was quite comfortable. The tent has a fly sheet and has opening windows in the sides and ends as well as two roof lights. The windows and roof lights have zippable fly screens to keep out the dreaded Scottish midges. The tent is a blackout tent and needs some lighting (TentBox sent a gift pack with a string of LED lights). I have now also purchased the TentBox Living Pod annex which fits below the TentBox to provide additional covered standing room.
