I'm back at the bench and today I am building a Zvezda Models KA-58 Black Ghost Stealth helicopter. This is not a real vehicle, but was featured in several games. It has the look of a Comanche, but with Russian attack helicopter features. This kit is nearly 15 years old and can be had for about $15 if you look in the right places. Although the KA-58 never existed in real life, it has made an appearance in video games. Stealth helicopters such as the KA-58 and Comanche are notoriously difficult to produce, and are best suited to an as needed basis as dictated by mission. This is going to be a unique because because I am making a CUSTOM splinter style camouflage for this heli. The all black paint job just seems to boring to me. Since I don't have to worry about rivet counting, its not an issue. The KA-58 Black ghost by Zvezda Models gets an A in my book, get yourself one today.
