The key is in your persistence

When you've asked, declared or decreed in prayer, you've served, you've given etc and nothing seems to be forthcoming (results), more often than not, out of impatience , we are out the door in search of the next best thing that would yield result, and a fast one at that! Most times, it's not that what you're doing ain't yielding (well not the way you want in the now) or that God isn't hearing you, but that He is doing some underground work first before there is a shooting forth, upward for all to see. And all over the bible, we see how God emphasised the need to be persistent, consistent, faithful to the end both in our work and walk with Him -to the end (Matthew 24:13) God rewards persistent efforts be it in spiritual pursuits or life in general. And He comes in big. You can read scriptures like : Galatians 6:9, James 1:12, Hebrews 10:36-37, Hebrews 11:6, Isaiah 40:30, Lamentations 3:25 and Psalm 130:5 to mention but a few (please go through them, it would encourage and strengthen you) like the widow and the unjust judge in Luke 18: 1-10. I understand how easy it is to give up when certain answers ain't forth coming as we pray, but friends rather than give up and lose faith, please STAY! Stay and sit it out with God on that until you have your answers in your hands and do so not grudgingly or with complaints but with thanksgiving. Keep asking, keep praying, keep giving as led by the spirit of God, keep serving, none of it is wasted. And when your cloud is full your rain will fall. God will not fail you. No! He won't!
