76TH REPUBLIC DAY CELEBRATION || LFS, JAMSHEDPUR

This year, the flag hoisting ceremony of the 76th Republic Day celebration at Little Flower School filled all with patriotic fervour. Gracing the occasion as the Chief Guest was Dr. Sreekala Pillai, a proud alumna of the LFS 1974 ICSE batch. Currently teacher, coordinator and evaluator of the Theory of Knowledge at the Jain International Residential School, Bengaluru, Mrs. Pillai is passionate about teaching the mission of the International Baccalaureate Diploma Program. Following a grand marchpast parade, the flag hoisting was followed by the School President's speech, a soulful prayer, the India pledge, a melodious prayer song and a brilliantly executed band display. The event was concluded by the Chief guest, Mrs. Sreekala Pillai's address in which she expressed her gratitude to her almamater as well as shared words of wisdom and advice to the students. The Vice Principal, Sr. Mary ended the event wishing all a joyous Republic Day and congratulating the band members and the other students for their splendid performance. The patriotic hues of the tricolour filled every heart with pride, respect and greater love for the nation.
