Spurred on by the Brownlee brothers, She then decided to take a leap into the unknown and switch to triathlon. Her rise has been rapid, and a first major title in the ITU World Cup event in Valencia last year underlined the threat she possesses, especially with such an explosive run. Kate is a fast emerging talent on the triathlon scene who has been a consistent performer at Under-23 level and is now stepping up to challenge the elites. A three time medallist at the Under-23 World Championships, the psychology student has also proved her pedigree amongst the best of the best with a runners-up spot at the Malmo ETU senior race.
