ZNS RESTOCKS CHANYANYA FISH CAMP

Zambia National Service -ZNS Command has embarked on fish restocking exercise at CHANYANYA Fish Camp in Kafue District. ZNS Commandant Lieutenant General MALITI SOLOCHI says 2 Hundred and 46 Thousand Fingerlings have been restocked in three ponds. General SOLOCHI explained that this follows a directive by President HAKAINDE HICHILEMA that the fishing camp be revamped after 15 years of been dormant. He was speaking when he launched the exercise in CHANYANYA ,Kafue today. General SOLOCHI further explained that ZNS want the fishing camp to be the largest in SADC region and later in Africa the way countries like Egypt are doing it. He stated that this will be extended to its 17 hectors so that it can be able to react more than 200hundred job opportunities. General SOLOCHI adds that ZNS plans also plans to make the place as a fishing sports resort. And speaking at the same function ZNS Deputy commandant and chief of staff Major General RUEBEN MWEWA said there will be training programs for staff to make the project a success. General MWEWA pointed out that there is good will by the new dawn Government to support the venture.
