In a Montessori classroom the teachers use brightly colored charts and stories to help the children learn different concepts, such as how a leaf makes food. During her internship at Butler Montessori, Olivia Silins (class of 2016) offered to create an animation of the chart, Leaf Factory. Elementary guide, Kelly Nguyen added a vocal explanation. Olivia is off to collage this year (2020) and we are excited to see what else she will create!
