I load up on supplies, repair the walls, and head into the forest for one last iron run. After tearing open a rich vein beneath the pines, I race back to the fortress and take my place in the roost as the sky turns red. When the Blood Moon rises, the mountain erupts. Waves of zombies flood uphill into the new traps — fences that freeze them in place, blades that carve through the mob, darts that punch straight through the line. I even power a fence at my firing position, shocking anything bold enough to reach me. Electricity roars. Steel sings. The fortress holds. Dawn brings quiet, loot, and repairs. A trip to trader Rekt clears out the overflow, and then it’s back to the mountain for the biggest project of the day: carving a path to connect my two ramps into the beginnings of a true road circuit. The digging is rough, the angles worse, but eventually the ramps meet. It’s only wood frames for now — but for the first time, the mountain is open, and I can drive the peak from end to end. Red night. New roads.
