This means that potentially hundreds of temperature sensors must be positioned as precisely as possible, and they must also be miniaturized, highly accurate, robust, and insensitive to interference. CSM has developed a new, patent pending, digital temperature technology (HV DTemp) for measurements throughout a high-voltage battery. Because the measurement system is extremely space-saving and high-voltage safe, it also can be advantageous for other applications.
