in this video i demonstrated how to design Square Wave Generator circuit Using CD4049 Hex Inverting Buffer CMOS IC. cd4049 is hex inverting buffer. i explained in urdu hindi language it consists of six independent inverting buffer, it uses very few components a capacitor and resistor, It uses very little power. The output frequency is stable due to tPLH and tPHL and constant current, the rate of change in frequency on change in power supply voltage is less so we can obtain a stable frequency on wide range of VDD voltage. CD4049/883B is much better because it is in ceramic dip chip. cd4049 or CD4069 TC4069, LM4069 can be used for this purpose. The frequency determined by R1 and C1 is F = 1 / (1.75xRxC). The power supply used DC 12Volt.
