Plot: "Centennial" revolves around the development of the fictional town of Centennial in Colorado, starting from the 1700s up to the 1970s. The town of Centennial was founded in 1876, the same year Colorado was admitted as a state to the USA (100 years after the Declaration of Independence). The story begins in the mid-1700s when Arapaho Indians in what would become northern Colorado first encounter white fur trappers. One of these trappers is Pasquinel, a French-Canadian who arrives in the area for fur trading.
