Wind from the Northeast has pushed temperatures back down after Monday's record-breaking warmth. It will stay dry and windy for most of the day on Tuesday, until a strong frontal boundary draped over north-central Illinois brings the chance for storms in Southern Wisconsin in the evening. The strongest storms would be capable of producing large hail and gusty winds. As an area of low-pressure pushes East, cold air wraps around the system and descends into Wisconsin. Snow showers are expected to move in late Wednesday morning and into the afternoon.
