Let's break them down one by one: 🧰 Use Case 1: Automatic Material Transfer on MO Confirmation 📌 Business Scenario: You run a custom wooden table manufacturing business. Raw materials are stored in Raw Warehouse Assembly takes place in the Manufacturing WH. 🪚 Real-World Example: You receive an order for a Custom Wooden Table. BOM includes: 4x Wooden Planks,4x Metal Table Legs,16x Screws 🏗️ What Happens in Odoo: MO is created with Manufacturing Warehouse as the production location. 🔄 Odoo automatically generates an internal transfer from raw to the Manufacturing warehouse 🧾 Use Case 2: Multi-Warehouse Manufacturing with Shared Raw Material 📌 Business Scenario: You manufacture modular home furniture in different warehouses. All products use Engineered Wood Panels stored in a central Raw Materials Warehouse (WH/Raw). 🪵 Shared Raw Material Example: Kitchen Cabinet ➡️ Assembled in Warehouse X TV Cabinet ➡️ Assembled in Warehouse Y Dek Chair Combo ➡️ Assembled in Warehouse Z ⚙️ What Happens in Odoo: MO is created in any of the manufacturing warehouses (X, Y, Z). 🔁 Odoo automatically triggers a transfer of Engineered Wood Panels from WH/Raw.
