Enjoy the 2015 Tokyo Rainbow Pride Parade! Over 3,000 people participated in this year's Tokyo Pride Parade, which was held in Shibuya and Harajuku. The LGBT Pride events in Tokyo have grown so much in the last ten years. In addition to the big positive crowd, there were so many corporate sponsors for this year's Tokyo Rainbow Pride parade and other related events. 2015 will be remembered as the year that Tokyo's Shibuya Ward voted to issue marriage licenses to same sex gay and lesbian partners. It's largely symbolic because it's still not the law of Japan yet, but things are moving in the right direction step by step. We want to say a big "Thank You!" to all of the people that we met at this year's Tokyo Pride events - and to those that we've met in all of the year's that we've been covering Tokyo LGBT events.
