CAT S62 Pro: The ‘Indestructible’ Smartphone with Thermal Camera Built In!

The CAT S62 Pro is the latest ultra-rugged flagship smartphone in the market. At a first glance, you will notice it's not as bulky and cumbersome as most rugged phones we've seen, designed with a modern look. It seems to be making a play for users who need a tough device but also care about the aesthetics of their smartphone. Safe to say it’s better looking than many other tough smartphones in the current market. It’s not tiny, by any means, though. It still has a thicker body than most 'regular' smartphones, but not a great deal heavier. The screen does look a bit 'last-gen' with the massive bezels, but the FHD LCD display is good enough and is bright and sharp enough for most users needs. One big plus that's squarely aimed at its intended user, is that it has a crazy 'Glove Support' feature, meaning that, even if you have huge thick gloves on, you can still use the phone without issue. This is a feature that we think should be implemented on all phones. Possibly the biggest draw to this device is the excellent Thermal Camera. The main reason we were keen to trial this smartphone, really, and it didn't disappoint. The obvious use for this feature lies at the building site, but it's definitely possible to muster some more creative applications and the resulting images can be quite stunning.
