In retaliation, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps says it’s taking “a tough step of revenge” and has launched a massive attack on 27 US bases and Israeli defence sites. Ayatollah Hussein Noori Hamendani, a grand ayatollah, has issued a Fatwa calling on all Muslims to take revenge for the death of Khamenei. Meanwhile, the US and Israel are continuing to bombard cities including Tehran, Bushehr and Qom. President Donald Trump has warned Iran not to escalate further.
