In the second instalment of the Ultimate Pulley and Winch Storage Shelf - I build the ceiling pulley brackets, bolt them together, mount them to the ceiling and put everything together. I put a switch by the door, hook up a battery maintainer/charger beside the 1000 lb pulley on the wall. I also installed a safety redundancy system to prevent the storage shelf from falling down if the winch has a catastrophic failure. Not likely to happen, but necessary nonetheless. This thing is huge. It's about 44 Sq Ft of storage space hanging 9 feet in the air, with a switch near the shop door to raise and lower it. If you're interested in builds like this, please subscribe!
