This is my song 'Right Back to Hell', I wanted to write a song that sounded badass, a bit of a mix of Blues Saraceno and Johnny Cash. Once again, I hope you all like acoustic country songs! Hopefully adding to the UK country music scene of 2022 and (added to your favourite playlist 😉 ) I used a Blue Yeti Pro mic for recording vocals, guitar, banjo, jaw harp, chains and clicks in Cubase Elements, probably the cheapest decent mic that I've been using for years - all other instruments are vst's from Kontakt Komplete using a midi controller. For any musicians/filmmakers of you interested, this entire music video was shot on a single Canon EOS M50 using a Canon EF-M 22m f/2 pancake lens and took about an hour to record at the beautiful Bleabeck Force in the north of England. Editing/export was done in around 2 hours using Premiere Pro, a bunch of work was done on the colour grading as the majority of raw footage was recorded with poor weather conditions - 6pm~ - and I was freezing my arse off. I parked at Highforce car park and lugged my heavy equipment down a steep incline, across a muddy field, over a footbridge, up a steep incline and then through a small wooded area to get to the perfect spot I had in mind! 😂 For this song, I tuned my guitar to C-G-C-F-A-D if you want to try and play it yourself, just have fun with it! Additional info, recorded to 125BPM, common time 4/4.
