Now previewing upcoming reel to reel tape auctions https://reelhifi.com "CHANGES" by David Bowie reel to reel tape playing on an Otari MX5050 B3 The Factory Prerecorded "Magtec" Transfer tape is David Bowie's album ‎– Hunky Dory, on the RCA Victor ‎– EPPA-4623 Reel-To-Reel tape release from 1971. This tape is a 7 ½ ips, 4-Track Stereo, reel to reel tape album YOUTUBE RECORDING INFO: Recorded to Native DSD256 using an RME-ADI-2-Pro FS Analog to Digital Converter direct out from the Reel to Reel Tape Player. The Tape Machine is an Otari B3 MX5050 with a B2 custom lapped and slotted Laser aligned Headblock. The DSD file is a copy of the analog tape and cannot be manipulated. The RME Analog to Digital converter is one of the few AD/DACS that will record in "Direct DSD" and the Windows AISO MADI drivers are selected in Vinyl Studio Pro to achieve a "Native DSD" digital transfer. https://www.alpinesoft.co.uk/VinylStu...
