Makes 4-8 Cones ▬▬▬▬ Video Chapters ▬▬▬▬ 0:00 – Waffle Cone 3:18 – Ice Cream 5:52 – Serving ▬▬▬▬ Ingredients ▬▬▬▬ • ¼cup Egg Whites (from 2 large eggs) • 7Tbsp (3 oz/85 grams) Granulated Sugar • ½tsp Vanilla Extract • ⅛tsp Salt • ⅔Cup (3.18 oz/90 grams) All-Purpose Flour • 2Tbsp (1 oz/30 grams) Unsalted Butter, melted & cooled • To create “colored” ice cream cones, see notes below Notes • Waffle Cone Maker: Used the Waffle Cone Maker, Nonstick DIY Ice Cream Cone Maker • Quantity of Cones: Use 1/8 Cup batter for thinner cones; yields 8 cones. • Coloring your Cones: Divide batter between (4) containers & add (4) drops of color to each container. • Colors Used for Cones: For each 1/8 Cup of Waffle Cone Batter, add the following ◦ Ube Extract (Purple): 1/8 tsp ◦ Ghiradelli 100% Unsweetened Cocoa: ½ tsp ◦ Pink Gel Coloring: 4 drops ◦ Blue Green Gel Coloring: 4 drops · Cone Mold: Used the O’Crème Pizzelle/Ice Cream Cone mold but you can make one with tin foil. · Decorating Cones: Melt ½ Cup chocolate in microwave in 30 sec intervals on 50% power until fully melted. Dip cooled cones. Before chocolate cools, dip into sprinkles. Chocolates o Purple Cone: White Baking Chips o Chocolate Cone: Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips o Turquoise Cone: Turquoise Candy Melts o Pink Cone: Pink Candy Melts Sprinkles o Purple Cone: Sparkling Sugar – Ultra Violet o Chocolate Cone: Chocolate Sprinkles o Turquoise Cone: Wilton Blue Sugar Pearls o Pink Cone: Sparkling Sugar – Hot Pink ▬▬ Instructions ▬▬ 1. Grease Waffle maker with Canola Oil. 2. Preheat Waffle maker on stove, low heat for 5 minutes. 3. In small mixing bowl, beat together Egg Whites, Sugar & Vanilla. 4. Add Salt & half of the Flour & beat. 5. Add melted Butter & remaining Flour & beat until smooth. 6. If you don’t want colored cones, put 1/8 Cup batter onto center of hot Waffle maker, close lid & cook for 1 minute. (To color cones, see notes above.) 7. Flip Waffle maker & cook 1 more minute. (If using another type of Waffle maker, use their instructions for cooking times.) 8. Remove waffle with spatula onto a flat, clean surface with paper towels. Use towel to roll & help form cone. Be careful – cone is hot. Move quickly when making cones as it will set & harden fast. 9. Allow cones to cool completely before serving or decorating. Store in airtight containers. ▬▬ ICE CREAM ▬▬ Basic Vanilla Ingredients • 2 Cups (1 pint/473ml) Heavy Whipping Cream • 1 Can (14 ounces/400ml) Sweetened Condensed Milk (Fat free or regular) – Place in fridge 24 hours before using – It needs to be cold • 1 tsp Vanilla Extract • Hand Mixer or Stand Mixer Basic Vanilla Directions 1. *Prior to making ice cream, place Whipping Cream & Sweetened Condensed Milk in fridge for 24 hours. Items need to be cold. 2. Using a mixer, whip cold cream on medium/high speed until soft peaks form. I whipped for (3) minutes. 3. Turn off machine & pour cold Condensed Milk into Whipped Cream. 4. Turn speed to high & whisk for 1 minute until mixture is thick & stiff peaks form. 5. Turn off machine & stir in Vanilla Extract 6. Place in freezer in airtight container for a min of 6 hours or overnight 7. Can be stored up to 6 weeks in airtight container 8. For all other flavors, see Directions below. Candy Bar Ingredients • Basic Vanilla Ice Cream • 1 Cup any candy bar cut into pieces • ½ Cup Chocolate Chips Candy Bar Directions • Make Basic Vanilla Ice Cream Mixture • Cut up Candy Bar & mix with Basic Vanilla Ice Cream Mixture. Add Chocolate chips • Place in freezer in airtight container for min of 6 hours or overnight. Chocolate Ingredients • Basic Vanilla Ice Cream • ½ Cup (60g) Cocoa Powder Chocolate Directions • Make basic Vanilla Ice Cream • Stir in ½ Cup (60g) Cocoa Powder (I used a hand mixer) • Place in freezer in airtight container for min of 6 hours or overnight. Strawberry Ingredients • Basic Vanilla Ice cream • 1 Cup Strawberries Blended • 2 Tbsp Sugar • 1 tsp Vanilla Extract Strawberry Directions • Make basic Vanilla Ice Cream • Wash strawberries, cut into smaller pieces & place in blender. • Stir in Sugar, Strawberries & Vanilla Extract & blend. • Place in freezer in airtight container for min of 6 hours or overnight. Colorful Ingredients • Basic Vanilla Ice Cream • 1 or more Tbsp Ube Extract • 4 or more drops Yellow Gel or Food coloring • 4 or more drops Pink Gel or Food coloring • 4 or more drops Blue Green Gel or Food coloring • 4 or more drops Sky Blue or Food coloring Colorful Directions • Make Basic Vanilla Ice Cream • Divide Basic Vanilla Ice Cream Mixture into separate bowls. I used (5) different colors • To these bowls, add the following & mix: ◦ Bowl 1: 1 or more Tbsp Ube Extract ◦ Bowl 2: 4+ drops Yellow Gel ◦ Bowl 3: 4+ drops Pink Gel ◦ Bowl 4: 4+ drops Blue Green Gel ◦ Bowl 5: 4+ drops Sky Blue Gel •In your bowl, layer colors on top of one another making to create a multicolor mixture. Swirl colors •Place in freezer in airtight container for min of 6 hours or overnight. ENJOY!
