Lots of people have asked for it, so here it is at last; my review of the WCML - Preston to Carlisle route in Train Sim World 5. This was the second TSW add-on developed by Just Trains, and is themed around British Rail in the 1980s again. This time, the star of the show is the Class 87 electric locomotive, but you also get a few diesels with the route as standard. This is a long and well-detailed route running through some pleasant rural scenery (especially north of Carnforth), and there’s so much detail to the point where I struggle to wrap my head around it all.
