Wow I can't believe how much trouble I had with this little jig! It's a tune called "Scotch Style Jig" composed and recorded by the great Canadian and Métis fiddler Andy De Jarlis in the late 60s. I think Andy recorded it in E but I must have learned it in D ages ago, but maybe I never played it and only listened to it a million times on the album from the great Irish band Dervish? I dunno, but it took me a longer time to get this back than it should have! Regardless, this is a killer little tune! It's played a lot in Cape Breton too!
