About Barrowlands: Barrowlands is the penultimate song on the album "Lindy's Party". From what I read, barrowlands is about an event in an existing building, that during 1968 and 1969, three young women (Patricia Docker, Jemima MacDonald and Helen Puttock) were found brutally murdered after a night out in Barrowland. All three murders were attributed to a man nicknamed 'Bible John' by police after he was overheard referring to the Old Testament to one of his victims. The similarities between the murders led police to believe they were the work of the same man. The man made contact with the three women at the Barrowland Ballroom, before escorting them home and raping and strangling them just yards from their doors. All three women were menstruating and their handbags were stolen. Segun lo que lei, barrowlands trata sobre un suceso en un edificio existente, que durante 1968 y 1969, tres mujeres jóvenes (Patricia Docker, Jemima MacDonald y Helen Puttock) fueron encontradas brutalmente asesinadas después de salir por la noche en Barrowland. Los tres asesinatos fueron atribuidos a un hombre apodado 'Juan de la Biblia' por la policía después de que se le escuchó referirse al Antiguo Testamento a una de sus víctimas. Las similitudes entre los asesinatos llevaron a la policía a creer que eran obra del mismo hombre.
