Escaping the crowds in Kyoto | Japan EP 7

This vlog was difficult to make since a lot of our clips were blurry since we got too crowded in the busy areas of Kyoto. We aren't a fan of crowds so we tried to escape as fast as we could to other areas. Kyoto Day 1: Weather was cool and rainy. • Slept in and got bagels and coffee at The Lower East Nine Cafe • back to the hotel for more coffee • went to Kyoto Station to get IC cards • walked over to mall and shopped • Minori Cafe for lunch: green tea and red bean sandwich • took subway to Gion Neighborhood • found a nice side street full of lanterns • crossed over a pretty foot bridge • fought the crowds to Hokan-ji and Yasaka • walked through an old and well-maintained gravesite to get back to subway • CoCo's Curry: had chicken and mushroom curry for dinner • drinks at hotel lobby Kyoto Day 2! Coldest day so far but still comfortable. • early morning train to Inari Station • Fushimi Inari area, Photography session, photographer-Yusuke, was awesome and we both had a nice chat with him and he gave some great recommendations! Also toured us around the area! (check him out on Airbnb Experiences!) • Cafe January for breakfast • Laundry, nap, booked tickets for tomorrow • Aeon Mall - hat shopping (everyone is so fashionable, we’re trying haha) • Dinner at Hablamos (really good Spanish food!) • To-ji Temple night light stroll, Buddha Statue Viewings • Tsujiya Torizo: chicken, churro, and ice scream snacks • walked around Kyoto at nighttt • nightly Sapporo hotel beer • almost 70 flights of stairs today!
