Belfast’s Holyland: A History Reclaimed is a 30 minute film produced by Forward South Belfast in partnership with local residents. It is produced by Connor Mc Kernan NVTV. Historian Eamon Phoenix takes us on a fascinating tour of five locations in the area and talks with local residents who highlight its history of diversity and inclusion. The Horsey Hill which looks out onto the Lagan is featured as a forgotten landmark that residents plan to restore. There is lots more to enjoy from an area that needs to be celebrated for its uniqueness. The film will be released close to St Patrick's Day as a positive message that looks forward to regeneration and renaissance of Belfast Holyland in the Post covid era. A New Start!
