It has been the worst summer in NSW for drownings and over 90 people across Australia have lost their lives. I created this video to bring awareness to rip safety, Please watch and share and I hope you learn a thing or two please do not swim in Rips this is for educational purposes, always Swim Between the red & yellow flags 🟥🟨 In this video I talk and demonstrate on how to Spot rips How rips work Remain calm do not panic Asses the situation Determine which way you are moving in the rip How rips move in all different shapes and sizes What to do if you get stuck in a rip Different floating techniques Fight or flight Rescuers drown too always use a floatation device If you are strong swimmer you can aim for the waves either side and the energy and momentum will take you back to shore.
