Follow me as I join the crew for a legendary ride down to Manly that turned into one of those perfect cycling days you don't want to end! We rolled out with a solid group heading to the North's famous tourist trap - North Head - to soak up those iconic harbour views before making our way to the essential stop: Rollers Cafe for what might honestly be one of the best sausage rolls I've had, no joke! What I loved about this ride was the vibe - finally a group cruise that wasn't an all-out smash fest for once. Just good mates, good laughs, and soaking up the scenery. That said, I couldn't help myself when we hit some of the climbs along the way - had to test the legs and see if I'd gotten any stronger since my last venture out this way. Happy to report I nabbed PBs on all of them, which put a massive smile on my face! The pace was meant to be social but you know how it is - when you're feeling good on the bike, sometimes you've got to send it a little. Getting to catch up with everyone while cruising along was perfect, and those harbour views from North Head never get old. After our Rollers pit stop, we rode back to the city as a bunch before I peeled off to solo a few laps of Centennial Park to hit that dreaded 4-hour mark - all part of chasing down that 20,000km goal for the year!
