Gauteng Premier Panyaza Lesufi says his province will avail its best resources to tackle challenges faced by the residents of Sporong informal settlement in Randfontein. Hundreds of residents were forced to flee their homes and sought refuge at a community hall after being terrorised by illegal miners, commonly referred to as Zama Zamas. The provincial government has assured them that they will be moved from the local community hall within a week.
