The Music Project : Adi & Suhail

Adi and Suhail is an Electro-Acoustic act led by Suhail Yusuf Khan and Aditya Balani, who have been playing and writing music together since 2002. Both the Delhi-based musicians have been performing internationally for over a decade. Suhail, a devoted sarangi player, has been hailed as a prodigy in the world of music. He comes from the Moradabad-Rampur and Senia Gharana of Miyaan Tansen. He is the grandson of renowned sarangi legend, Padmabhusan and Padmshree awardee Ustad Sabri Khan and nephew of the sarangi maestro Ustad Kamal Sabri. Aditya Balani, an eclectic guitarist, composer and songwriter, has worked with bands like Advaita, Aritistes Unlimited, Crimson, Think Floyd and Incognito. He has also performed with international artists like Kenwood Dennard, David Fiuczynski, Carl Clements, Dhruv Ghanekar and Subha Mugdal. He graduated from Berklee College of Music (USA) in 2010, where he received the Berklee Achievement Scholarship and won the Kenwood Dennard artist competition.
