Before I purchased this camera, I wanted to make sure that it works with the iPhone and Mac OS X. After reading reports on issues connecting to the iPhone, I'm happy to report that it indeed works. I'm on an iPhone 6 running the latest iOS 10.2.1 The iPhone app allows remote control and changing of defaults on the camera. You don't need the app to use the camera by itself. I use the http://www.lg.com/us/support-product/... LG 360 Cam Viewer to view and process the files on the Mac. (I mount the microSD card directly with a card reader on the Mac) The processed-stitched files from the LG 360 Cam Viewer desktop application are ready to upload to YouTube after I use the 360 Video Metadata injector on the files https://github.com/google/spatial-med... (I can also edit the clips in Final Cut Pro X first). The LG Bridge software allows updating and restoring the firmware of the camera itself when connected to the mac via USB cable supplied with camera.
