In this episode of Inside Torker, we sit down with Alan Woods, Torker’s UK distributor since 1981, to tell the story of one of the great Torker unicorns, Project Torker XXXPERT... aka the Targa! Never released to the public, the Targa was a prototype built during the final days of the original Torker era. Alan was there when it happened and had the unique opportunity to own one of the few known to exist. He shares firsthand insight into the communications behind the frame, discovering one hidden at the liquidation auction, and how the Targa was used in a magazine at the time to help build interest in the UK and Europe in hopes of continuing the Torker brand.
