Remodel a Knife Handle: Learn Nurbs in FreeCAD Curve Workbench, using STL import, make Part Solid

How to create a solid knife handle using FreeCAD, Curves and Part Workbench with a parametric shape (except for the end caps!). We will be using FreeCAD to import a STL file of a knife handle that I like the shape of. We will then extract out a few edges and use these to create a parametric model in the curves workbench using the sweep across 2 rails and the blend surface tool to create a blend across the the mirror to create both sides of the knife handle. We will then turn this into a solid ready for further modelling in the part or part design workbench or 3D Printing.
