CHEOW LAN LAKE TOUR STARTS AT 07:44. We fly down from Bangkok to Surat Thani and then bus it over with the locals (and a chicken!?) to Khao Sok National Park. The next day we go on a one day lake tour of Cheow Lan Lake, the artificial lake that spans 185 sq km with Kwai Jungle Experience. With stunningly beautiful limestone cliffs towering over emerald waters it's clear why so many are now flocking there to visit. Follow along as we sightsee around the lake, visit floating bungalows and trek through the rainforest to a pitch black cave. After a long day we eat an absolutely mind-blowing meal at Wind Song restaurant & bar, a fantastic restaurant in Khao Sok offering a large menu, full bar and proper espresso coffee. Get the massaman curry - you will not regret it.
