In this video, I show you how I discovered a large Organ Pipe cactus that my neighbor had left out for free after thinning their garden. I will show you how I re-planed the cactus in my yard, and share some of my tips and tricks of cactus care. How to propagate and plant cactus, choosing the correct location and soil, and how to care for the plant once it has established itself. The organ pipe cactus, also known as Stenocereus thurberi, is a type of cactus native to Mexico and the southwestern United States. It gets its name from its long, cylindrical shape that resembles the pipes of an organ. The cactus can grow up to 20 feet tall and is covered in small, white spines. It blooms in late spring and early summer, producing beautiful white flowers that are followed by edible red fruit.
