THREE NEW BUS TYPES FOR LONDON | The NEW YUTONG U11DD, E400 EV & BYD BD11 eBus (YK74PEO) Coming Soon

A brand new bus type has entered service in London. This is the new Yutong U11DD electric double decker. So far, there have been no announced orders for this bus in London. These new buses began production last year. The U11DD has a capacity of 70 seated passengers with 12 standing. Two U11DDs can be found in Newport, on route 30 between Cardiff and Newport. The new Enviro 400 EV was also shown at Bromley Bus Garage recently. Stagecoach London have ordered these buses for Superloop route SL3. This bus has been designed and built by Alexander Dennis without involvement from BYD. This bus has a range of 195 to 260 miles on one charge when new. The bus has a capacity of up to 87 passengers. Now for the new BYD eBus BD11. At least 100 of these new buses have been ordered by GoAhead London. BD11s will enter service on several routes, including the 129, 321 and Superloop route SL4. The BD11 can carry up to 90 passengers.
