This tutorial will teach you how to make a high quality, professional & adjustable wrap bracelet for both men & women. I will tell you how much leather to cut, & how many inches of beads to sew on. After several years of successfully making & selling wrap bracelets on Etsy, I've come up with my own starting & ending threading techniques no one else has taught until now. You will find a list of supplies & links below as well as the required measurements of leather & beads to use for both women & men. The end result is based on the following average wrist sizes: For Women: 5 1/2" to 6 1/2" (for an adjustable bracelet with 3 button closures) For Men: 7" - 8" (for an adjustable bracelet with 3 button closures) As an example, a women's adjustable wrap bracelet will fit a wrist size 5 1/2" with the button in the 1st closure, a size 6" in the 2nd button closure, & a size 6 1/2" in the 3rd button closure. If you need to make a bracelet larger than the standard, average wrist size, simply add the difference onto the bead length. If you've ever purchased a wrap bracelet, the majority are sold as adjustable, so this is the perfect guide for anyone wanting to make & sell their own wrap bracelets. Also, if you're interested in purchasing a downloadable measurement guide that will save valuable time in calculating how much leather & beads you'll need for making wrap bracelets, you can find it here for $1. https://calibluestrands.etsy.com/list.... Thanks so much for watching my video, I'm very excited to share this valuable information! Here's what you will need to make an adjustable 5 wrap bracelet: 1) 1.5mm Round Leather: Cut an 84" piece for a women's adjustable bracelet. Cut a 92" piece for a men's adjustable bracelet. (link to LeatherCordUSA, my go-to for leather) https://www.leathercordusa.com/catego... 2) 4mm round beads/gemstones: 32" of beads for a women's adjustable bracelet, 36" for a men's adjustable bracelet. You can find lots of options on Etsy, Michael's, Joann's and Hobby Lobby https://www.etsy.com/searchq=4mm%20ro... 3) Matching Thread (either Silamide or S-Lon) a) 2 Ply Waxed Silamide Thread Size A is my preferred choice because it is strong, easiest to work with, and has proven to last. Here are a couple options on where to find it. NOTE: The silamide from Wawak.com is very strong, but it's packaged as skeins, and in following the instructions on how to open the skein package, you end up with individual 122cm long pieces of thread (about 1.33 yards long). https://www.wawak.com/thread/thread-b... b) Another option for Silamide thread is this Etsy seller who sells 900 yard spools, but it is a bit pricey. https://www.etsy.com/listing/13504627... c) S-Lon Fine .4mm Tex 135 beading thread is another option as well, and although it's not my preference, it's a tad stronger than Silamide and may be better when beading with glass beads since they have a tendency to break down the thread faster. Amazon has some good options for the S-Lon thread: https://www.amazon.com/s?k=S-Lon+Nylo... 4) Beading Needle (Collapsible or Big Eye) a) https://www.michaels.com/product/bead... b) https://www.michaels.com/product/bead... c) https://www.michaels.com/product/bead... 5) One 2-Hole button, size approximately 14mm x 10mm, with a hole diameter of 2mm https://www.etsy.com/listing/71360261... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07T12ZWPT 6) A beading board. A beading board with space between the leather & board will make things easier while beading. If you'd like to make your own beading board, you can watch my tutorial here. • PART 1: DIY Make Your Own Wrap Brace...
