In this sewing tutorial I demonstrate my preferred method of making single faux welt pockets. This type of pocket is also used in the Designer Stitch , Estelle pants ( soon to be released) . Try this pocket application and you will be surprised how easy is to sew a pocket like this. This is a faux pocket, so not a functional one, but it could easily be adjusted to have also a pocket bag and have a functional pocket.
