Talk info: This talk will provide an overview of excavations at a Neolithic Maes Howe-type passage grave, discovered in 1896 but subsequently lost from memory and the archaeological record. Speaker bio: Dr Hugo Anderson-Whymark FSAScot is a Senior Curator of Prehistory, responsible for Palaeolithic to Neolithic collections, at National Museums Scotland. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ This recorded talk took place on Saturday 3rd May 2025, at Augustine United Church and was chaired by Diana Murray, President of the Society of Antiquaries of Scotland.
