My Best of Railfanning 2024 (4K)

2024, was the best year for my channel so far. With two new Steam Locomotives for myself, and adventures across the country to document various operational Steam Trains, and some Diesel Power. From Pennsylvania, to the Midwest, South & New York, there were so many good events going on. For the first time, in two years I was able to compact everything into one video, instead of multiple! While I did not go out Trackside, as much as I have in Previous years, there are many good runby's in this video. Starting off in March with the Everett 11, we then go to the Midwest in May for the Return of the Canadian Pacific #2816 The May trip features many static steam Locomotives, and Rare Power around the Chicago land area. This was my favorite trip from 2024. Going to the Summer, I trekked south to Tennessee Valley Railroad Museum to see Southern #630 & #4501 on the First Summerville Steam Special of the year. In July, August & September, I would trek down to Pennsylvania to see Norfolk & Western #475 Reading & Northern #2102 & the F Units on Excursions to Pittston, as well as a Day out with Thomas. September would feature the Return of Arcade & Attica 18, with Steam finally returning to my neck of the woods. The fall would be busy with Fall Foliage trains with 765, #1225 #1702 & another Doubleheader with 630 & 4501. While Christmas would be quiet, I would end my year chasing Southern 154 on it's last excursions. So grab some popcorn, sit back and enjoy my Train catches, with plenty of Runbys from 2024. This video is dedicated to the Memory of Britt Allcroft, the creator of my favorite TV show as a Kid, Thomas The Tank Engine & Friends, and Shining Time Station. She passed away on December 27th, 2024. As we now dive into the Best of 2024 season, next week should be the Steam Train Whistle Compilation 2024. After that, we dive into memories and a Director's cut as we dive into the year, so stayed tuned! Right now it is looking like my first adventure of the year, will be the Reading & Northern 2102 during the Winter Iron Horse Ramble. However I am still planning out my year. As always stay tuned!
