In this part two I decided to try and use a tool that might not be the best idea in some peoples eyes but in this case, turning the air down and using my air file with some 80 worked out just fine for me, after using the 80 grit very quickly I used 180 on various blocks and got it all leveled out with that. What wasnt shown is I sprayed another 2 coats of the hok dts primer, hit that with 320 dry and then sealer, paint and clear. Keep in mind, this isnt a normal high build primer, this is a polyester hybrid type of primer and it DOES NOT sand easy at first. Using and aggressive grit to break through that first layer saved me a lot of time, ontop of the fact you'd never use an air file on regular primers. If you do use an air file like I did, make sure you know what youre doing or else you could gouge the primer! I took major precautions as well as I have 3 full wet coats of this stuff, so I had plenty to work down. At the end of the day, it worked out fine for me.
