"No Way" is available to stream and buy now across all platforms - https://lnk.to/CC_NoWay After Drake memorably sampled the UK funky anthem ‘Do You Mind’ on his global smash ‘One Dance’, Crazy Cousinz has dropped his new track ‘No Way’ which features a triple-threat of special guests in the shape of Lily McKenzie, Yxng Baneand Mr Eazi. The track has just been premiered on 1XTRA as Jam Hot by MistaJam. In an organic progression from the sound he’s best known for, ‘No Way’ finds Crazy Cousinz exploring sizzling Afrobeats rhythms with an undercurrent of R&B and an enticingly immediate hook. Lily McKenzie’s soulful topline stands at the top of the production, while features from YxngBane and MrEazi reiterate the track’s natural authenticity. Crazy Cousinz– aka Flukes– is a classically trained musician who has also produced for artists such as TinieTempah. His productions have been complemented by a major DJing career which has taken him across most of the world’s leading clubs. Between ‘No Way’, ‘One Dance’ and his UK funky tracks, Crazy Cousinz has demonstrated an ability to thrive with an eclectic mix of sounds. The artists that he has assembled for ‘No Way’ are all firmly established in their own right: South London singer-songwriter Lily McKenzie earned support from the likes of 1Xtra, KissFM, SBTV, Rinse and Clash for her ‘Support Machine’ EP. Her co-writing and production credits include work with Wiley, Giggs and Zdot. Influenced by the likes of Future and ChrisBrown, East Londoner Yxng Bane’s debut mixtape ‘Full Moon’ demonstrates his ability to merge dancehall, Afrobeats, rap and pop. Wizkid remixed his ‘Fine Wine’ track which featured Kojo Funds, while YxngBane also featured on Yungen’s recent summer hit ‘Bestie’. Born in Nigeria, MrEazi leads the Banku music genre which is influencing the wider Afrobeats scene. Previously nominated for BET, MOBO and AfricanPride awards, MrEazi recently claimed a career landmark when he became the first African artist to be named as Apple Music’s Up Next artist. After performing on "The Late Late" Show with James Corden, Mr Eazi brings his "Life Is Eazi Culture Fest to London’s Roundhouse on September 23rd. --
