The Trancers films are untouchable, in particular the first three. And even though the first is a classic, Trancers II is the bar for films as far as I'm concerned. Exploding hams, golf cart shootouts, car chases, zombies with shotguns, and wise cracks galore. It has a to die for cast including obviously Tim Thomerson, Megan Ward, Helen Hunt, Art LaFleur, THE Jeffery Combs, Richard Lynch, even Barbara Crampton has a cameo! It really has it all. The scores for part 1 and 2, by Mark Ryder and Phil Davies are unreal and iconic. Richard Band in part 3 built upon and elevated the music in his own way, and the score is fun and fantastic in its own right. This cover is a modified, properly mixed, and updated version of a release from many years ago, when I was still figuring things out musically. I reckon I spent easily 2 or 3 weeks trying to get it down to a point where it was listenable, and then released what I felt later was an unlistenable track. So heres v2.0 and maybe in another 6 or 7 years I might put out v3.0! Charles Band, if you're out there, and you decide to make another Trancers film, don't get Richard to score it - I AM YOUR GUY - I'll do it for a ham sandwich.
