105th Squad: Head and ears casts

I had to opportunity to get my head and ears casted. A BIG thank you to James(Formal Vader) and Maggie for doing the workshop! You two ROCK! Here's a bit of a rundown We used: You will need the following supplies: Alja Safe or Alginate (Skin-safe Life Casting Material) 4-5 Plastic Cups and 4-5 buckets Ultra Cal Burlap Strips Popsickle sticks for clearing the nose Water Plastic Gloves to protect your skin Time One of the important steps I forgot to show is when we put a layer of Ultra Cal (aka Stone) then dipped small strips of burlap to put on the inside of the mother mold. REMEMBER Alja Safe or Alginate is NOT able to stay on it's own, it is VERY fragile! And also be mindful of airways when doing this project!
