I initially ran this as a workshop (hence the intro welcoming you to a workshop) a year or so ago and I've decided that as I won't be running this one again, to upload it to youtube as a "Beginner's Reference" for Peyote Stitch. We also use the larger Size 8/0 seed beads in this one so it's not quite as fiddly as trying with 11/0's. Peyote Stitch is universally used and where most of us began our bead weaving adventures. In this demo I show you how to read a word pattern for peyote too and if you'd like access the full pattern to print out, you should be able to get to it using the following link: https://www.dropbox.com/s/ioz8fa7cmy6... If that doesn't work for you, feel free to drop me a message and I'll email it across to you. Materials required: *6 different colours of 8/0 seed beads – you can use any colours that you have in your stash – but in case you want to use the same colours I have: Pearl Ceylon, Coral Lined Crystal. Duracoat Silver lined Salmon. Duracoat Silver Lined Light Amethyst, Duraocat silver lined peach and Opaque Turquoise Green. You’ll only be using small quantities of each colour (2-5g of each) *Clasp – I used a sliding tube clasp with 3 attachment points – but you can use any clasp *Beading Thread – I usually opt for 6lb Fireline *Beading Needle – I normally go for a size 10 *Beading mat and thread zapper or scissor to end off threads. As always, I'd love to see your own version if you give this one a go - so please either tag me in a post or post a picture to my facebook page. / jobarclayloggie If you prefer PDF tutorials, have a look at my Etsy shop where I sell a whole heap of different patterns to what is available for free on YouTube: https://www.etsy.com/uk/shop/JoBarcla...
