Stars Ask the Stars at the Opening Night of Once on This Island

Hailey Kilgore, Lea Salonga, and more of the revival cast field questions from their guests on opening night. ''Once on This Island'' celebrated a triumphant return to Broadway last night at Circle in the Square Theatre where Michael Arden directs a revival of mythical proportions. Newcomer Hailey Kilgore leads the cast as Ti Moune, an orphan girl guided on a journey by the gods of love (Lea Salonga), death (Merle Dandridge), earth (Alex Newell), and water (Quentin Earl Darrington). The ensemble, along with Arden and the show's Tony-winning composers Lynn Ahrens and Stephen Flaherty were on hand after the opening-night performance to answer some questions asked by some of the evening's illustrious guests. Find out what they had to say about life, love, and goats as they basked in the Broadway celebration.
