The day starts out in the dark with a light snowfall on Falling Waters Trail, but patience is rewarded with some spectacular under-cast views atop one of New England's highest peaks, Mt. Lafayette. We end the morning with a nice trail-run down to the AMC Greenleaf hut before hiking back down Old Bridle Path to the Lafayette Place parking lot on Route 93.
